Off Suit Poker League has a simple goal: We want to provide every player with an enjoyable experience playing a friendly game of cards while supporting our local businesses.

There is no entry fee to play. Each season consists of 4 or 5 weeks depending on the month.

If you are running late, you may contact the venue or TD to be signed in. You then have until the first blind raises to claim your seat. 36 Players is the max capacity at weekly games. Once capacity is reached, the TD will get you signed in at another location and you will have until the 2nd blind raises to claim your seat,

A player earns points by venue. Points are venue specific, but players are not limited to only play at one venue. At the end of the season (each month), the top 3 players from each venue will be invited to The Ultimate Showdown. The Ultimate Showdown season ending tournament will be on a Saturday with $3,000 in cash prizes paid out to the top 5 finishers. If a player is unable to claim their seat for any tournament, the next player at that venue will receive the seat.

The Tournament Director running the game has the final say in every situation that may come up.

Point System

You will receive points based off of your placement in the game. If you are first out, you will get one point. If you are second out, you will get two points and so on.

Bonus points will be awarded to:

1st place (20 points)

2nd place(15 points)

3rd place (10 points)

These bonus points will be added in addition to regularly scored points. For example: if there are 15 players, 1st place will finish with a total of 35 points. (20 bonus points + 15 players that night)

The Wild Card Wheel

The Wild Card Wheel is an opportunity for players that don't rank in the top 3 to get a seat at The Ultimate Showdown. To be eligible you must sign up and play every week of the season at one location. You will receive an entry for each location you sign up and play every week of the season. You must then sign up for the wheel with your Tournament Director on the final week of the season to confirm your availability that Saturday. If you are unsure if you're able to be there, please do not sign up as it could take a seat from a willing and available participant. On the Friday before The Ultimate Showdown, we will spin the wheel on FaceBook Live at 4:30pm, and select 2 random players to receive a seat at The Ultimate Showndown the following day. If you do not sign up with the TD at your regular weekly game, your name will not be entered into The Wild Card Wheel.

Bonus Chips

There are 6 ways a player can earn more chips before the game starts. Bonus chips are capped at 5k, you can pick 2 of the following:

2.5k for posting and tagging the bar and the league on any social media platform
2.5k for bringing in any merch from the bar or the league
2.5k for signing in a half hour before game start
2.5k for a proof of purchase for spending at least $15 at the venue hosting that game
2.5k for bringing a new player
2.5k for being a Gold Member by showing up every week to the previous season (effective all season)

Blinds will last 20 minutes each with 10 minute breaks after every hour and will go as follows -

The following rules will be enforced for all card games:

We follow the Texas Hold'em hand structure.
Players are required to deal throughout the game.
Only the dealer is allowed to touch the chips and cards - the TD will be there to assist if needed.
Every player must be at least 21 years old to play.
Every game is free to play, chips DO NOT represent any cash value.
No weapons of any kind will be allowed at any event.
Purposefully damaging any cards, chips, or tables is strictly forbidden.
No gambling will be allowed during our card games.
All chips must remain on the poker table at all times.
You will be auto folded if you are not at the table during your turn to act with the exception of being in the big blind.
Verbal bet or raise overrides any physical placement of chips and is final.
If or when a card is exposed during a deal to the small or big blind, it’s considered a misdeal.
During a deal if a card is exposed to any other player, whether it falls on the floor or exposed on the table, the card will become a burn card, and the dealer will need to deal a new card after finishing dealing to the remaining players.
If a player chooses to show his/her hand to an active player in the hand or when mucking one’s hand will be required to show all players.
Players must please refrain from table talking to the other players when not presently in the hand.
Chips are colored up at designated breaks. Chips WILL NOT be colored up during game play for any reason. Chips not presented at break to be colored up, will not be honored and will be removed from the table.
The venue hosting our game must be respected.
